Good reads for kids brings to mind the popular children's magazine Chandamama. Just thought I'd share this with all those who are looking for good websites with stories for kids. Remember the favorite magazine Chandamama? Well, it is still around and to add to their existing line up, they have a great website where you can access their old and new stories. There are activities for kids and wonderful stories to share. In fact, their site has recently introduced a new Alerts widget that informs the user every time new content is published on their site. Check out www.chandamama.com. Kids will love it.

I think that the loss began occurring even within our own generation - blame it on the television. That may be bigoted and narrow minded. But that's what happened to reading. Television. Technology in itself is almost always good. Unfortunately there is the human tendency to abuse everything in sight. And so, television happened to reading. I can say that ad infinitum and I will continue to say it. I do not need any more words. Television happened to reading!!!
