It really irritates me that authors like Chetan Bhagat can get away with mindless tripe like this one. He has as u have rightly pointed out "unnecesarily" involved himself in the story(maybe to have himself playing the character when this book is made into a movie??) The 3 mistakes can be definitely called the 2nd biggest mistake in writing a book after his 1st mistake, "one night at call center" I agree with ur post completely.
