“Do you know how to spell photosynthesis?” asks the 6-year old.
“P-H-O-T-O-S-Y-N-T-H-E-S-I-S,” I reply.
“I can spell encyclopedia,” pipes up the 12-year old. “E-N-C-Y-C-L-O-P-E-D-I-A.”
“I can spell ‘Joe-the-plumber‘,” says the 6-year old, with a giggle.
Can they spell “robo calls”?

This is California. Neither candidate cares enough about us to “robo call”. I am feeling positively neglected!

Hey, but this is where the Bradley Effect happened!

The Bradley effect happened in a local election. In national elections California reliably goes Democratic( no exception this year) and the candidates only come to California to replenish their coffers.
On a related note, did you know that Governor Terminator( sorry, easier to spell) has been giving Senator McCain the cold shoulder? I suspect Maria and the kids have been applying the pressure.:)

I can believe that. Woman/Wife power on the one hand, but clearly a pointer to the rift in the Republican party, after Powell’s endorsement. Even a whiff of something like that in India, you would be thrown out for”anti-party activities”. And of course, that very evening you would join the arch rival with much fanfare and would be hugged with an emotional “thambiiii…”!
