I attended this event last year, and highly recommend it for parents looking for interesting ways to occupy their kids this summer. I found about Sulphur Creek’s internship program in Hayward, and also about other animal rescue opportunities. (My teen was into nature those days.) There are lots of other interesting opportunities, both to volunteer and to learn.
